As many of the top paid scientists of the world are bought out by Exxon and say that Global Warming is just a hoax, a fraud, we have way too much Hard Data to prove the opposite.  Yes, every reasonable person knows that we can be easily swayed to one opinion or another by sheer media force, unrelenting advertising brutality, describing why Global Warming is not going to happen, or If it actually happens someday, it's not really the fault of all the monoxide emissions from Factories first, then Cars.  Nope.  There is no connection there they say, as they collect ungodly amounts of moolah from Exxon to fund their fraud.

In the olden days, we had a megacompany called Shell Oil. They ran things over in Africa, all thanks to the last dictator (knock on wood), deKlerk.  It ended up really ugly and he got slapped pretty hard for being such a racist prick, and he sold it all out to his buddies, and it all went over well with investors and the stock market, and worldwide economies benefitted from this terrible lie.  Do you remember that far back?

It is really not a new phenom, just tell the people the same thing in so many different ways that they stop arguing about if it's the truth or not, and they start arguing about which aversion was correct.
