This is certainly a sad time for freedom of speech. The internet has seemed to upset a few different governments in the last week, causing worldwide outages of the popular community networking website www.youtube.com and also the deletion of www.wikileaks.org .
On Feb 16, 2008 Youtube was shut down by an atrocious act of maliciousness from the Pakistani government's botched attempt to block YouTube within Pakistan, but who can say that it was not deliberate?
On Feb 14, 2008 Wikileaks was unconstitutionally censored! and the domain name was deleted from the central DNS database. This is illegal misappropriation of power by the United States, and is paramount to a violation of the Freedom of Speech - First Amendment of the US Constitution. Take action! Help Wikileaks fight to get the truth out and change the world for the better. More info on the Donations page at the new wikileaks website in Belgium. Despite the order, the site is widely available online at its IP address and mirror sites like Wikileaks.be .
